The EAA’s Gold Wrench and Lindy Awards are the Michelin Stars of aircraft restoration.

We have five.

Owners and operators of fine vintage aircraft understand that they are but temporary stewards of historic machines. These aircraft came before our time and, with proper care and attention, they will outlast us and continue to tell their stories.

At Vintech Aero, our mission is to accumulate, preserve, and deploy the expertise needed to restore and maintain these historic artifacts.

Since Vintech Aero was established in 2005, its engineers and staff have cared for a wide variety of historic aircraft: Spitfires and Mustangs, delicate wood and fabric biplanes, classic float planes, Cold War jets like the F -86 Sabre and and Second World War and pre-war trainers such as the T-6 Texan and Stearman.

We are proud of what we do and who we are. We have developed and preserved those often-forgotten skills from English wheel metal work and fabric stitching to the maintenance of high-performance V-12s and vintage radial engines, to impeccable and historically correct paint work.
